Shorn

Back in January when I spent some time in Santa Cruz during the 80 degree weather there, I decided to take advantage of the heat to take off the big layer of wax that had accumulated on my surfboard. When Jeremy does this to his board it takes much less time because his board is quite a bit smaller. It took me CONSIDERABLE time to perform the same task on my 8 foot beauty.
A sore back and a big, huge ball of wax later...

...I could see once again how lovely my board truly is! As I sat there on Westcliff it received many a compliment from passerbys.

I think it is pretty too, but mainly I love it because it is such a perfect board for me. It is big enough that it is easier for me to catch waves, yet it is not so big and heavy that it is not maneuverable for a small person like me. Jeremy did an awesome job picking this out for me some 5 1/2 years ago.
