My sister, Emily

Today is my sister Emily's birthday, and she turned 32.
Here are 32 things you may or may not know about Emily:

1) She can swim in very cold water for a surprisingly long time

2) She is a neuroscientist
3) She plays the violin

4) She loves playing scrabble
5) She loves going to the symphony
6) Her favorite foods include Indian food, Thai food, my mom's homemade lasagna and granola, good bread and cheese.

7) She has never been a big meat eater
8) She has a terrible sense of direction
9) She loves to dance
10) She is close with both her mom and dad

11) She loves kids, and they love her

12) Her middle name is Anne
13) She choked on a "Wheat Thick" this past weekend
14) She loves the outdoors, particularly the mountains and Southern Utah

16) She did her first triathlon this weekend and got 2nd place in her age division
17) She rides her bike to work every day
18) She is a true optimist
19) She fed me a potato chip when I was 1 day old
20) Someone told my mom that she would be a truck driver when she grew up. (she was a tough kid and used to flex her muscles a lot)
