Critical Mullet
As usual, there were several interesting folk out. I debated whether to post some of the more grotesque photos, and decided against it. This ride took us down windy Lombard street and some other huge hills. We saw some guy without brakes go tearing down the hill and eat it.
One of my favorites was Gold Man, here.
This year's ride ended early for us after my tire got caught in the trolley car track and I took a nasty tumble, even though we were only riding at ~2 mph at that point. Somehow every bony prominence on my body made contact with my bike or the ground and I was bruised and cut everywhere! Ah well, it was an adventure.
Also fun was the Birthween party that took place for Betsy at her and Steve's sweet new loft. For excellent documentation of this party, check out The New Awesome.
