After hanging out a bit we were reviewing holiday party ideas. Courtney was stoked on the Guitar Hero idea, and Nate was showing serious concern about the suggestion of caroling.
Brigham looked stunning in his thrift store gem...that vest only cost $3--can you believe it? I believe Alex felt he looked like his middle school music teacher.
We didn't wait too long to start the gift opening from our gift exchange. Emily modeled her cute holiday apron. She also got some bowls that I knocked off the arm of the couch and broke. Classic Liz move.
Heather was excited about her new books. Books were a common theme that evening, which Brigham complained about shortly before opening his own gift... of books.
Jeremy was thrilled with his new surf DVD, and watched it twice within less than 48 hours of receiving it.
Courtney was so excited about how prettily her gift had been wrapped. She eventually conceded to open it and found a season of Arrested Development among other things--gifts can't get much better than that.
Rebecca couldn't wait to reveal what lay inside her gift bag...the movie Delicatessen.
Our gracious hosts...
Dan got a cookbook. He already proved to be quite the chef with his delicious ricotta dish.
Robyn's was the last gift of the evening--some clothes from H&M, from me.
We rounded the night off with some Guitar Hero. I got my all time low score of 23% with My Name is Jonas and my high of 75% with Sunshine of your Love. No, I'm not very good, but I still love it. We all enjoy watching Emily hold her guitar like the violin she's used to.
A very merry Friendmas, indeed.

Sounds like a fun party Liz!
We missed seeing you this Christmas, hope it was a holiday filled with happiness and love!
PS - don't feel so bad about the bowls, I make so many clutsy moves Matt has given them a name -"Jessica Classic".
