9 weeks 3 days
16 weeks 1 day. So good-lookin'!
Feet
Thighs and bits...can you tell what variety?? The MD guessed wrong at the 11 week visit. Thankfully a lot more obvious at 18 weeks.
I'm currently 19 weeks and 2 days. The baby is due on March 19/20th (depending on who you ask). Time is flying!Pregnancy has been a different experience in a lot of ways this time. It has definitely been rougher physically. I was more nauseated with more vomiting and boy, I've been tired. I'm also restricted from exercise this time around, which is a huge lifestyle change for me and a difficult adjustment.
I have refrained from publicizing our news widely because I have a pregnancy complication that puts the baby at higher risk than normal. We're optimistic, however, and it is totally obvious that I am pregnant so it seems a little ridiculous not to make it public news. Another thing different the 2nd time around...showing way earlier! The size of my belly now is equivalent to the way it looked my 3rd trimester with Finn.
The more I feel this baby move, kick and punch, the more I get attached and excited to meet this little one. I'm so grateful to potentially have the chance to get to know another unique little being as well as I know Finn. As far as Finn goes, when I tell him there is a baby in my tummy he looks at me like, "Yeah, whatever mom. I think you might be a little crazy." At doctor visits he is just super anxious about whether I am ok and what they are doing to me. During a recent ultrasound he sat next to the table and had to hold my hand, wide-eyed and watching the doctor's every move. So endearing. I can already tell he's a protector, and going to be a great big brother.

Congrats Liz! So excited for you guys!
So exciting. Finn will be a great big brother.
I finally got to checking your blog and I had to go straight to the baby stats. You are farther along than I thought. Hope you are adjusting okay to the sedentary lifestyle. Do you have the okay to do "sit and be fit?" Remember that show?
