Kessler Cookie Party

My favorite party of the year is always Robyn's cookie-decorating party so we figured it was bound to cheer us up. This year I bought a tub of holiday cookie cutters and made some cookies (blank canvasses, if you will) to contribute. Jeremy found a cookie cutter in the tub that reminded him of an elephant seal so he made me bake one and went with the theme. He managed to convert a few holiday-themed shapes to marine life and had me laughing as I watched his creative genius unfold. He turned a christmas light bulb into a fish, a sleigh into a seal and a star into a starfish.

Brilliant sprinkle work, eh?

The elephant seal sleigh:

Here are my cookies for this year. Far less creative, but I'm proud of my smooth frosting coat.
