This Sunday is the women's Olympic trials for the marathon--there are 181 athletes who qualified for the trials. Six of my Impala teammates qualified for the event, which is the highest number from any USATF club. So, needless to say, we are pretty excited. It has been so cool to see them get local publicity and watch them prepare for this. They are all in fantastic shape.

Our other runner, Christine Lundy, did not have a bio up, but she is ranked the highest of the girls from our team with a qualifying time of 2:41!!! I should point out that all of these amazing women also have successful careers, and Lisbet is also a mother of 3 lovely children!
I am very happy for them that they get this opportunity and can't wait to hear about it. Go Impalas!!
