Reunions

At the end of June/ early July I got to catch up with friends who I have not seen for ages. Emily and I went to Utah and our first item of business was the Timpview High School Cross Country Reunion. It was crazy seeing so many people after 10 years...but most of them actually looked exactly the same.

After the reunion some of us just had to go toilet paper our coach's house for old time's sake. Only this time it was in broad daylight and we waited for him to come home, to see the reaction and so we could help clean it up. Plus, it was a super light dose of TP. We've gotten soft in our old age.

This trip I also got a much needed haircut from my friend Phil, and spent a lovely afternoon with my dear friend Lori of whom I see far too little. We watched a flick, ate some good spinach dip and did a little shopping, topped off with a mickey D's diet coke and ice cream cone. I also had a great time hanging out with my grandma. We went swimming on the roof of her apartment building a couple times. The morning I left, I got together with some high school friends and their families again for brunch. It was so great to finally have a trip to Utah that was just for seeing friends.
